Weed or marijuana is a type of drug produced from the dried flowers of the cannabis plant which include pot, herb, grass, hemp and ganja. Narcotic plants, as its name indicates, are drugs that grow from the seed pod of various opium poppy plants grown in Southeast and Southwest Asia, Mexico, and Colombia.  These seeds will grow into a plant and then harvested to produce opium, heroin and morphine.  Another well known narcotic plant is tobacco.
